King Salmon and Chum Salmon

Rods: 9 to 9 1⁄2 foot models, in 9 wt and 10 wt size range. Favorites include Winston Bllmx, Sage Z-Axis, and The Fly Shop H2O rods. Though the waters are not large, many people enjoy the use of their favorite 8 wt and 9 wt two-handed rods here, as well.

Reels: Ross Cimarron LA, Nautilus, Tibor, Galvan Torque, and The Fly Shop S4La reels.

Lines: Rio Density 24’ Compensated Sinking Tips – 150 grain, 200 grain and 300 grain

Leaders: Bring spools of 25#, 20# and 15# Maxima Ultragreen or Chameleon – the guides will construct basic leaders out of these for you. If you really prefer knotless tapered leaders, make sure they are short (6-7 1⁄2 feet), and heavy (15#-20# breaking strength).
